Lucy: Do my best every day, making the best of this second chance.

Mali: What career path have you chosen or what services or products do you offer to your clients or consumers?

Lucy: I am a special education teacher. It is my passion and I get to impact the lives of young people as well as support their parents indirectly and directly. I have a child with special considerations and I understand their plight.

Mali: What motivates you to get up every day and do your work in the world? (Your WHY)

Lucy: God, my kids, my new relationship, working with my students.

Mali: How do you find your peace and happy place to continue SOARing when faced with challenges?

Lucy: Remembering that God has brought me through many trials; going to bed and thinking I cannot do this one more day and then receiving what I need for each day.

Mali: What are some words of wisdom you would like to share with our S.O.A.R. community?

Lucy: We all have a gift. It will manifest in our journey if we are true to ourselves and acknowledge who we are and what we were designed for. We must stay open and be able to embrace it and to find peace with God, ourselves and experience joy through our life’s work.
