OUR EVENTS

Take a Stand, Make a Statement and SOAR in the Market.

SOAR Community Network host a community event as OWN's Belief Team Partner.

The SOAR Community Network is a Belief Team Partner, in association with Values Partnership and OWN Network’s upcoming BELIEF Series.

What is the BELIEF Series and who is part of the Belief Team?

BELIEF is an exploration of the power of our diverse belief systems, faith practices and cultural traditions to connect us to ourselves, sustain us through the most challenging times and bind us closer together in community with one another.

Premiering on October 18th – 24th on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, this 7-night series features a collection of deeply personal and culturally diverse stories about the unique spiritual journeys of people around the world as they work to seek lives of meaning and purpose greater than themselves.

The Belief Team is a community of individuals from diverse spiritual, cultural and faith backgrounds that will explore and build relationships through conversations around three guiding questions:

  1. What do we believe and how does that belief system bring us closer to our life purpose?
  2. What do others believe and how can we learn more about those beliefs and our common humanity?
  3. How can we connect more closely to other communities of faith and belief to impact the world for the greater good?

Our goals for our events are to build dialogue around the power of our distinct as well as our shared beliefs and cultural experiences. These events will provide opportunities to deepen dialogue within our community that foster interfaith/intercultural understanding.

We will be hosting two events in September and October as part of our commitment as a Belief Team Partner.
