Professional Background
I am a retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel who has served around the globe working alongside international partners. Throughout my career, I served in many positions and locations, including various combat zones, within special operations, and at the Pentagon. Few organizations prepare you for the demands of leadership like the Armed Forces. I bring many of those lessons to my coaching and facilitation effort which helps me bring a different perspective across various industries. I have worked with executives, managers, and junior leaders in the corporate, government and non-profit sectors to maximize their leadership impact.
I serve as an adjunct professor for Strategic Leadership within the European School of Economics’ MBA program, an adjunct faculty within Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies, and an alumni mentor in Georgetown’s Leadership Coaching program. I also facilitate classes on mindfulness, building high performing teams, emotional intelligence (EI) and have been invited to speak to large audiences on building high performing teams and transitions. I especially enjoy volunteering with the Global Good Fund (non-profit) which enables entrepreneurs from underserved populations.
Coaching Philosophy
My passion lies in helping others realize their potential through an adaptable and practical approach. During my military career, I led multifunctional teams, rehabilitated dysfunctional teams, and fostered inclusive and collaborative organizational cultures. This foundation has shaped my perspective on leadership, strategic planning, and change management. I am easy going and flexible in my approach to helping leaders grow, connect, and accelerate their impact.
